The Healthy Schools programme is nationally accredited. Its aims are to improve health and educational achievement by helping schools to be healthier and happier places.
Children do not drink sufficient water and many children can go through the school day without a drink of water. Dehydration leads to loss of concentration and lower levels of achievement. |

Water Smart supports the 'Water is Cool in Schools' campaign and is actively involved supporting the Healthy Schools Programmes in the North West, providing cost effective mains fed water coolers/filters.
We have saved one Manchester Junior School over £700 a year by converting their bottled water cooler in the staff room to a mains fed system. This has enabled them to provide a water cooler for the children and still save money. |
The Water is Cool in School Campaign aims to improve the quality of provision and access to fresh drinking water for children in UK primary and secondary schools.
